London Review Bookshop

14-16 Bury Pl, Bloomsbury, London WC1A 2JL, UK – 020 7269 9030

Brilliant bookshop, happened upon it by accident, and very glad I did. I asked about a book I was looking for and the staff were able to tell me that it is currently out of print in the UK, and tell me which of the author's books are still available. Very impressed. Reminded me of the Shop around the Corner from You've Got Mail.

Great collection of Books in an amazing environment. Love the the coffee shop too

Tabernacle Bookshop

Metropolitan Tabernacle, London SE1 6SD, UK – 020 7735 7076

Excellent Baptist bookshop with a careful selection of Evangelical Reformed books

Excellent selection of very carefully chosen sound-doctrine, Bible-based Christian books. In a Christendom with so much confusion, we need a reliable source of Christian edification and instruction, and in the Metropolitan Tabernacle (Spurgeon's) bookshop you will find an oasis of sound teaching in the middle of the desert of doctrinal error in which we live. Titles from Owen, Pink, Calvin, Luther, Watson, Spurgeon, Masters, etc can be found there, amongst many other sound Christian writers, and modern confusion charismatic authors are completely avoided, to the glory of God. The selection of books that you can find there echoes Paul's 'we preach Christ and Him crucified, the power of God unto salvation'. The faithfulness to God that the Tabernacle Bookshop displays mirrors the faithfulness that the London Metropolitan Tabernacle still has by the grace of God. In the Tabernacle Bookshop they truly stand fast for the faith once delivered to the saints, and they truly understand that 'whosoever will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God'. I couldn't commend it to you with any more sincerity and earnestness!
