Local Bookshops

107 Charing Cross Rd, Soho, London WC2H 0DT, UK – 020 7437 5660

One of my favourite spots in London. An enormous bookshop with excellent choice, everything is laid out logically and there are always interesting titles dotted around the shop on displays, recently they had a collection of books by authors included in Trump's "Muslim ban", which I thought was a great idea. The cafe on the top floor is also good, a bit pricey but very nice vibes with lots of people working away, friends meeting and book club meetings and the like! A great place for a bookshop lover to spend an hour or two.

I love this book store. It has not just your traditional books of various genres but also whole sections for study books and music. The help desk was also super lovely when I was looking for as specific item that ended up being in their basement! Their stationery section isn't very large but it has good quality products.

Great book selection, especially if you're looking for bed time story books for your kids.

Nice an cool on a hot day in the city

9-13 Garrick St, London WC2E 9BA, UK – 020 7836 6757

A large bookshop with huge amounts of choice. The kids department looks well stocked, and the non fiction is very large upstairs. There are a few places to pay which reduces queues at the main till. In general the sales are pretty rubbish, but that's not specific to this store. Staff are helpful and efficient

Covent Garden Branch really nicely laid out with super helpful staff!
